Called the best musical of the 20th Century, “Carousel” tells the story of Billy Bigelow, a tough, unemployed carnival worker who falls deeply in love with Julie Jordan. Billy learns that he is about to become a father and he grows desperate for money. What follows is a classic from the wonderful team of Rodgers and Hammerstein, with a sublime score that includes “June is Bustin’ Out All Over,” “You’ll Never Walk Alone,” “If I Loved You,” and “Soliloquy.”
